开办时期，艰苦创业（1960.4-1966.5) 国家三年困难时期，学校办学境况十分艰难，当时，只有四排简陋的平房，几十张东拼西凑的床櫈，室内家徒四壁，室外到处瓦砾土浆。许多学生打着地铺睡觉、垒砖代凳上课，露天蹲着吃饭。不少老师在漏雨的房子里撑着伞办公。面对极其艰苦的环境，师生们以坚韧的毅力，勤劳的双手，像推着足载的大车一样，埋着头，摒住气，一步一步向前迈进，终于战胜了一个又一个困难。到1966年初夏，学校的基本条件发生了明显的变化。占地面积由建校时的 15.33亩增加到26.87亩；建筑面积由1324M2增加到5205M2；专业设置由2个（河船驾驶、河船轮机管理）增加到4个（河船驾驶、河船轮机管理、驾机合一、水运管理）；教职工由41人增加到69人。这一时期，学校的性质和培养目标也几经变迁。1961年10月，学校曾改名为南通河运技工学校。1964年11月，又改为半工半读中级技术学校，直到1965年5月才恢复原校名南通河运学校。 Q4~7Dt1?3eC3+5I

“文革”时期，学校混乱（1966.5-1976.10) 1966年5月起，“文化大革命”席卷全国，学校由此陷入了极度困顿的时期。由于“文革”内乱，学校自1966年后连续7年未招生，6年无毕业生，直到1973年1月经省革委会批准才恢复招生。1973年-1976年，学校共招生498人，开办短训班5期，培训学员198名。专业设置4个：河船驾驶、河船轮机管理、驾机合一、港口装卸机械。 L6;7ye62cG6-5D

改革前期，稳步发展（1976.10-1989.12) 1976年10月党中央一举粉碎“四人帮”，学校着手拔乱反正，恢复和建立正常的教学秩序。1978年12月，党的十一届三中全会召开，围绕全党工作重点的转移，学校工作重点转移到以教学为中心的轨道上来，并采取了一系列行之有效的措施，使各项建设得到了稳步发展。1977年-1989年共招生3278名，培养毕业生2674名，专业设置增加到7个，教职工人数由1976年底的97人增加到1989年的284人。办公楼，教学辅助楼、师生宿舍楼、食堂、图书馆等设施相继竣工。建成实验室10个，陈列室、语音室、实习工厂各一个，教练船4条（共242.1吨），图书馆藏书8500册。1982年，学校被评为江苏省群众体育先进集体，1984-1988年连续五年被评为市级文明单位，1985年被评为全省交通系统文明单位。有3名教师被交通部授予优秀教师称号，1名学生被命名为全国新长征突击手。1984年起，学校以“三个面向”为指导，围绕“多出人才、出好人才”这一目标，在办学形式、教学方法、助学金制度、食堂与工厂管理等方面进行了试验性的改革，取得了初步的成效，为今后改革的进一步深化创造了良好的条件。1989年1月，经省人民政府批准，学校更名为江苏省南通航运学校，标志着专业建设重点开始由内河为主向航海为主的转变。 B3=7rl1~6bp9:1d

深化改革 蓬勃发展（1990.1-2000.10) 历史进入九十年代，学校的改革、建设步入了持续快速发展的最好时期。学校党政领导带领全校师生进一步解放思想、开拓进取，在两个文明建设中取得了累累硕果。这一时期，学校办学规模迅速扩大，专业设置增加到24个，在校生规模达到3500人；十年共输送毕业生4880人，短期培训结业学员9864名。基础设施显著改善。新增占地面积31155M2，新增建筑面积33230M2，新增图书资料6万册。建成各类实验室35个，实习车间8个，建成比较现代化的电教中心、多媒体演播中心和校园网工程。教学改革全面推进，学校加快专业结构调整，主动适应社会经济发展需要。主干专业实现了从内河向航海的转变，取得了由国家港监局签发的10项专业培训许可证，开发研制了多种国内领先、具有国际水平的航海模拟器，按照ISO9000质量原理，建立了航海教育与培训质量体系。学校被编入1996年版《国际海事组织航海教育学院汇编名录》，被亚太海事教育与培训协会吸收为会员，与日本、新加坡、英国、越南、香港等国家和地区的交流与合作有了良好的开端，办学水平迈上了新的台阶。学校先后被批准为省部级重点中专、全国交通系统规范化中专学校和国家级重点中专。1996年起，学校被省教委确定为首批试办高职班的试点学校之一，现已形成以高等职业教育为主体、中专与职业培训为补充的办学格局。十年来，学校和教职工获得了许多荣誉，教职工有10人次获得省部级以上的表彰，学校多次被评为市级文明单位，被评为南通市花园式单位，省群众体育先进集体，省国防教育先进单位，省级德育先进学校、省中专文明校园，全国军民共建社会主义精神文明先进单位。 S2=7Cn1-2xU7:6E
